Chicken and his wife were watching some local variety show when the lady commented, 'Why are your [country's] artistes so ugly? How come even these people can be artistes?' My friend immediately thought of me, smiled, and replied, 'If only The Philistine were here! He would have agreed wholeheartedly.' With that, they laughed and probably continued to gawk in wonder at the unsightly creatures on the telly.

I thought he was a bit rude and I went one better by ignoring the pathetic failure of a man and a disgrace of a xtian, this time on Facebook.
Another reason why I am going for foreign specs. Look at the teachers they have! Our teachers? The whole lot can go fly kite!

Btw, out of millions of teachers in China, only she has the special mention. She's also very heavily made up in all her photos, and it's extremely obvious that she went under the knife to augment several parts of her body. I'm not challenging your assertion that teachers in China are generally prettier than teachers in Singapore (I remain neutral on that issue); I'm disputing that it's fair to make such a conclusion by pointing to one greatly artificially enhanced specimen.
She got a special mention because she won the contest.
You are right: she does look a bit like Plastic Yang.
Even if she is artificially enhanced, she still looks way better than many of the gaudily-painted specs I see. I applaud her for at least making the effort to look pleasing. I cannot say the same for many of our teachers here though. After so many years of suffering in our education system, I have only seen ONE pretty teacher (what a MILF)! It does paint a very depressing picture.
If I ever go to China, I'll see if I can take some snapshots of the teachers they have. I certainly won't mind the task of collecting a large enough sample size for further analysis! *Grins*
